A Danish AI company with a simple position
Where AI is built and operated decides where jobs, expertise and influence sit ten, twenty and thirty years from now. Europe should run AI on its own infrastructure, under its own law — not as a slogan, but as an engineering practice.
FRITS AI ApS builds and operates AI systems that run exclusively on European models and European infrastructure. Our flagship is GDPRchat, a ChatGPT-class assistant for European consumers and businesses: conversations processed and stored only in the EU, under GDPR, with no dependence on any single model vendor.
Building this in production — 26 languages, real users, real bills — keeps producing findings we could not find written down anywhere: how a model's political bias shifts with the language it is prompted in, how to make machine translation read natively rather than translated, how mid-size open models degrade when offered too many tools. We publish these findings as numbered, citable technical reports, because other serious European teams should not have to rediscover them.
